Send the brief. Get a scoped proposal.

No price list, because no two assignments are the same room. Tell us the dates, the languages and the setting, and you will hear back from the team that will actually run the job — normally within one business day.

Both buttons open your own WhatsApp or email with the brief already written. Nothing is sent from this page until you press send there.

Where can STIB provide interpreters and equipment in person?

Elsewhere, assignments are covered remotely or by an interpreter travelling with your team.

What should I include in a quote request?

The dates and hours, the city or platform, the language pair in both directions, the setting (conference, site visit, board meeting, video call) and whether the material is confidential. With those details STIB replies with a scoped proposal, normally within one business day.

Can I request remote simultaneous interpreting instead?

Yes. Remote simultaneous interpreting is delivered worldwide over Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex and other platforms. Choose Remote interpreting in the form and name the platform in the city or platform field.

What makes a quote accurate

Dates and hours, not just the day

A three-hour board session and a full day of technical meetings are different assignments. Session length decides whether one interpreter is enough or a pair is required.

The setting

Seated conference, moving site visit, courtroom, factory floor or video call — the setting decides the interpreting mode and whether equipment is needed.

The language pair, in both directions

Working into and out of a language is not the same as working in one direction only, and rare pairs may need a relay setup.

The sensitivity of the material

If an NDA is required, tell us up front — we sign before you send documents, not after.
