STIB. Executive Interpreting
Multilingual events

Trilingual events in Brazil, with a colour for every language.

For conferences and corporate events in more than one language, STIB runs the interpreters, the booths and the receivers — and offers an optional LED headset on which each language channel has its own colour.

Straight answer

STIB runs simultaneous interpreting for trilingual and multilingual events in Brazil — interpreters, booths and receivers — and offers an optional LED headset on which each language channel is assigned its own colour. Interpreters and equipment are on the ground in Recife, Rio de Janeiro and Campinas, with São Paulo headquarters and the Brasília office; other cities on request, subject to availability.

How it works

One channel, one colour

The interpreting is the same simultaneous interpreting; the LED headset makes each channel visible.

A channel per language

Each language of the event is delivered on its own channel. Participants choose the channel they want on their receiver, the same way they would at any simultaneous-interpreting event.

A colour per channel

With LED headsets, each language channel is assigned a colour, and the headset lights up in the colour of the channel that is selected.

An option, not a requirement

LED headsets are an option for the setup. Ask for them in the brief and we confirm availability for your dates and venue.

Interpreters are matched to the subject matter as well as the language pair, and the terminology is agreed with you before the session. Our network covers more than 40 languages with over 80 certified interpreters, and the setup is planned with the event's technical team beforehand.

LED headsets and multilingual events: questions we are asked

What are LED headsets for simultaneous interpreting?

They are interpreting receivers with a light on the headset. At a multilingual event, each language channel is assigned a colour, and the LED shows the colour of the channel the listener has selected. LED headsets are an option STIB can include in the setup.

Can STIB run a trilingual event in Brazil?

Yes. STIB provides the interpreters, the booths and the receivers for conferences and corporate events in more than one language, planned with the event's technical team beforehand. Tell us the languages, dates, venue and number of attendees in the brief and you get a scoped proposal.

Where in Brazil can the equipment be delivered?

STIB has professional interpreters and simultaneous interpreting equipment on the ground in Recife, Rio de Janeiro and Campinas, in addition to its São Paulo headquarters and Brasília office. Other cities are covered on request, subject to availability, with travel built into the assignment when it is scoped.

Are LED headsets required for interpreted events?

No. They are optional. Standard interpreting receivers do the same job; the LED adds a visible colour for each language channel. Ask for the option in the quote request and STIB will confirm availability for your dates and venue.
